european Pressure Equipment directive valid in Australia

Hello,
I have a supplier who wants to ship his equipment to Perth but designed and manufactured according to european pressure equipment directive.

It is a simple welded pipe with diameter 600mm and 0.07MPa overpressure (air).
so i think it would rather be a pressure pipe acc. to AS4041 instead of a pressure vessel acc. to AS1210.

But my question is, if it was ok to have it imported and installed in Perth, when it has not been designed and manfuactured explicitly acc. to Australian standards but to european pressure equipment standards?

with the product of p*Diameter it would (as pipe) anyway be of hazard category E which should mean, sound engineering practice (strength calculations, material certificates, documentation, certified welders,..) would be fine, right?

Would be glad if anybody could confirm my assumptions or answer my question.

cheers
