Notes:
- All equipment, other than with *, require identity number, calibration status label/sticker and date of next calibration.
- Equipment to be calibrated before initial use. Zero checks are needed before & after each series of tests.
- Maximum period between calibrations shall be the above calibration period plus 10%. Operational experience and frequent use may indicate that a shorter period is necessary.
- If the equipment is damaged or its accuracy is doubted, examine and calibrate as soon as possible.
- Master gauges or equipment are for calibration only, not for production use. Sub-contractor calibrations should be to recognised National Standards or equivalent to the above.
- Sub-contractor calibrations should be recognised to National Standards (See Section MM-18)
